Car Intel in Kawit, Cavite offers expert transmission services with smart diagnostic technology that identifies problems early, keeping your vehicle shifting smoothly and your repair costs under control.

Automatic vs. Manual Transmission Services

Whether you drive an automatic or manual vehicle, Car Intel has you covered:

Automatic Transmission

We perform fluid flushes and replacements, filter cleaning, solenoid and sensor checks, torque converter inspection, and full automatic transmission rebuilds when necessary.

Manual Transmission

Our services include clutch adjustment, clutch plate and pressure plate replacement, gear synchronizer repair, and manual transmission fluid changes.

Transmission Fluid Change — Why It Matters

Transmission fluid lubricates, cools, and cleans the internal components of your transmission. Over time, it degrades, becomes contaminated, and loses its effectiveness. A timely fluid change at Car Intel can:

Prevent excessive wear on transmission components
Improve shifting smoothness and responsiveness
Extend the lifespan of your transmission significantly
Prevent costly internal damage caused by dirty or low fluid

Most manufacturers recommend a transmission fluid change every 40,000 to 80,000 kilometers. Ask our team for the right interval for your vehicle.

Signs of Transmission Failure

Transmission problems rarely appear without warning. Common early signs include:

Delayed or rough gear shifting
Slipping gears while driving
Unusual whining, clunking, or humming noises
Burning smell coming from under the vehicle

Transmission warning light on your dashboard
Vehicle jerking during acceleration
Difficulty shifting into gear

If you notice any of these symptoms, bring your car to Car Intel in Kawit, Cavite as soon as possible. Early detection is key to avoiding a full transmission replacement.

Transmission Rebuild vs. Replacement — What's Right for You?

When a transmission is too damaged for simple repairs, you may face a choice between rebuilding and replacing it:

Transmission Rebuild

A rebuild involves disassembling the transmission, inspecting every component, replacing worn or damaged parts, and reassembling it. This is often more cost-effective than a full replacement and retains your original transmission.

Transmission Replacement

In some cases — particularly when the transmission is severely damaged — replacement with a remanufactured or new unit may be the better option. Our team will advise you on the most practical and cost-effective solution for your situation.

Why Early Detection Saves You Money

A transmission issue caught early — such as a fluid leak or a slipping gear — can often be resolved for a fraction of the cost of a full rebuild or replacement. Car Intel's smart diagnostic approach means we identify problems at their source before they spiral into major failures.
